Syracuse NY June Real Estate Report

mortgage-149882__180Welcome to this month’s Syracuse NY June Real Estate Report.*  It’s time to take a look at what’s happening in the area. It’s still a fast paced market with homes moving quickly due to low inventory.   Here are some of the recent stats for Syracuse NY as we compare this June to last June:

New Listings

In June 2016, there were 1,409 new listings.   This past June, there were 1,347 for a decrease of 4.4%.

Pending

However, in June 2017, we saw an increase of 6% in the number of homes under contract as compared to June of 2016.  There may have been less homes available, but more homes have contracts this year. We can’t express enough how important it is to be represented by an experienced Realtor that can help you put your best offer forward in a seller’s market.

Sold

June 2016 saw 815 clients make their move.  June 2017 brought 848 closed sales for an increase of 4.0%.  In addition, the average sale price was up 13.5%!
